| Abstract | With the deregulation of Telecommunication industry in Sri Lanka, the competition between operators became fierce and the only way to survive in the business. is to improve the quality of the service. In the first case, the researcher proposes a model to measure the service quality of that company. This model is checked for its suitability in different ways. Then, it is checked the suitability of this model against the use of expectation minus perception measurement in relation to the perception only measurement. Next, this model is applied to the Cell tel Lanka Ltd to measure the service quality of the company. Fourthly, this model is further checked for its suitability. And then try to identify the possibility ofreducing to a smaller set of dimensions or questionnaires. Thereafter, the deducted factors are interpreted based on the elements containing in each factor. Next, the multiple regression has been carried out to identify the relationship between perceived service quality on overall service quality. And at last, reliability analysis is carried out to check the suitability of this model. In the last chapter, a few recommendations are suggested for the company to improve on service quality |
