Abstract | In the research study report, key issues are identified for the lawmaker, when introducing a competitive natural gas market. An investigation is made of the draft for a new "Energy Industry Act" for Thailand. Comparisons are made to the common natural gas regulation in the Emopean Union. Thailand is with the Draft found to be moving in the right direction with the Act, when the goal is a regulated natural gas market. Thailand head for ownership separation when unbundling the natural gas market, and the plans for the creation of an independent Commission as a regulator and dispute settler seem like a reasonable solution. Third Party Access for the (natural gas) system will be created tlu·ough regulation. |
