Abstract | China's own MBA education program is becoming increasingly important as the country's economy grows steadily. The MBA graduates are contributed in the Chinese management development. They are distributed in state owned enterprises, join venture enterprises, government sector and private sector, almost every field. With the quick pace of China joining WTO, there exists the huge potential need of higher level managers. How to meet the huge market, how to educate the staffs in the enterprise are the hot issue of management education. With the fast development of Internet industry, people tum their interest into the education. The application of Internet to the education is a revolution to the traditional distant education. Even though this business is not profitable now, the huge potential trend has made it more attractive. Online MBA education reduces the limitation of traditional MBA education, it breaks the limit of space, time, and recruitment quotas, which are just fit the busy business people. This research analyzes the feasibility of online MBA education in the information society through the environment and universities' capacity. This research also analyzes the current experience in online management education in order to identify the unique characteristics, success factors and problem for the online MBA education. Finally, the recommendations for the implementation have been drawn. |
