Abstract | Now with the rapid growth in Internet penetration in UK, the retail companies looking for new interactive medium to deliver the right message to their customer. The concept of e-CRM, e-Advertising is now coming in play to bind the internet users and many Internet start ups are now developing the software to tailor the needs of these retailers, with which they can effectively target their customers who would be using Internet. The retailers in UK are recognizing the power of Internet for communicating and retaining their customers and to enable this they are now digitalizing their TV Ads and are looking for a technology which could help them in targeting their customers and which could help them in countering the problems of low click through rates of banner ads. Zedgravity.com is an Internet start up with the technology with which the retailers can digitalize their TV Ads, target their online customers and effectively target their customers with e-CRM and e-Advertisement concepts. Zedgravity.com is now ready to launch this technology and is exploring the market .On the basis of the data collected for this research study, identification of key sector along with the key players is done and information about their online strategy is collected. The targeted sector is food-retailing sector and an extended research study helps in exploring the possible business opportunity of ZedGravity.com with these retailers as the research study shows that nearly all l the key players in this sector are moving towards the Internet for attracting and communicating with their customers. With the outcome of this research study ZedGravity.com could know about the targeted sector and its key players and the information about their online strategy, customer profile, corporate information and thus could turn these retailers as a potential customers of their technology. |
