Abstract | This study of 1,330 employees at Circuit Electronic Industries Public Company Limited (CBI) examined not only the direction of relationship between job satisfaction level and job satisfaction factors (defined as, organizational attitude, work-itself, supervision, co-worker, working conditions, and pay) and employee's demographic, but the study also aimed to study relationship between job satisfaction level and employee's making decision to leave. It was proposed that the job satisfaction factors have a strong influential to employee's job satisfaction level, and job satisfaction level strongly influence on employee's decision to quit. The result of the study showed a significant relationship between job satisfaction level and only some job satisfaction factors but it showed strongly significant relationship with employee's making decision to leave the organization. These findings may help sociologists, industrial/organizational psychologists and Human Resource Management people develop workplace where employees feel comfortable and happy to work and more committed to the organization. Especially, both of the organization and employees could work it out together and be happy together. |
