AbstractThis research project has been undertaken to devise an export developing strategy of Bi ti's - a Vietnamese Footwear Company. It studies the expansion of the Company in the U.S. market. It is important for Footwear Importers to know that Footwear Products in the U.S. market is some 90% of import. In the drive for export, the U.S. market is becoming increasingly important in export strategy of the Company in the region and over the world, unexceptionally for Biti's. It's not easy for a newcomer in general and Biti's in particular coming to the U.S. market which is severely competitive. Although Biti's is a big Footwear Company in Vietnam, it still faces a lot of difficulties and challenges as going abroad. To enter successfully in the U.S. market, Biti's, a newcomer, should define the necessary steps that the Company should prepare to enter the U.S. market. This means Biti's should analyze its strengths and weaknesses, as well as, scan external factors to define its opportunities and threats carefully. With this, Biti's can develop an appropriate export strategy to expanding its market share in the U.S. market.
