Abstract | This study aims at investigating the possibility of employing Extensible Markup Language (XML) for symbolic computation. Polynomial functions are represented in terms of Mathematical Markup Language (MathML) and computed by programs written in Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformation (XSLT). The results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the approach. |
