AbstractMotorcycle spare part retailing is presently a growing industry in Hochiminh City (as well as in Vietnam). With the sharp increase in the number of motorbikes in the City within the last few years, the market demand for motorbike spare paits has increased substantially making the industry become more attractive than ever. Up to now, this industry is still a fragmented one including a lot of small players. Most of them are family businesses that are owned and run by only family members. None of them could have any influence to the industry due to their small size. Increasing market demand provides the elite players in the field a chance to overcome the fragmented structure of the industry. MYMAN shop is a successful family business in this industry. It was established in 1987 and has gone through many development stages since then. Facing with the present opportunities, the business is looking ways to expand its operation. This issue was addressed in the research under a strategic view.
