AbstractThis study examines the feasibility of integration through performing analysis of compatible factors of three management systems. The study analyzes the common and uncommon issues mentioned under the corresponding clause/sub-clause among these tluĀ·ee standards, and provides the clause/sub-clause of three standard requirements that can be integrated fully or partially in order to yield a basic framework for setting up an integrated management system. The new system combines all the necessary elements of the standard requirements, and provides an integrated route, avoiding overlap, duplication and repetition of the elements including quality, environment and occupational health and safety, as well as economic benefits to the company. The thesis also reviews the current situation of ISO application and development in Vietnam. Fmthermore, the work carries out a survey on production activities and existing quality management system in a company in order to realize the practical integrative problems and counter them for the success. Thuong Dinh Footwear Company (ZIVIHA) has been chosen as a case study in Vietnam. As a final conclusion, the thesis accomplishes a gap analysis of the current quality management system of the Company against requirements of the novel integrated management system. Conclusions and recommendations for improving the current quality management system of the Company are discussed. Key advantages/disadvantages and some of implementation impediment aspects of the novel integrated management system are outlined. Recommendations for further study are also proposed.
