Abstract | A study about the information technology (IT) software’s in construction company in a developing country in terms of benefits and obstacles is deemed to be beneficial to stakeholders and site participants in construction projects. IT software’s provides innovative construction companies with new opportunities to improve the process of collaboration, communication and information This research comprises of two parts. The first part is to survey and analyse the potential of IT software’s using in Indian construction companies. The benefits and obstacles of using IT software’s in Indian construction projects and head offices investigating by using interview questions. The second part is understanding the whole concept and scenario and analyse the solutions. Finally, producing the research findings and conclusions. The purpose of this study is to evaluate how IT software’s is used in Indian construction company in project site and head offices, how the practitioners are facing the benefits and obstacles by using IT software’s in particular construction activities. The literature review will be compared to the actual practice to investigate similarities and differences it would be helpful for the analysing the potential of IT applications using in Indian construction companies. |
