AbstractThe words "Networking" and "Internet", impacting on our workplaces and marketplaces, have absolutely changed the way of doing business. The networking enables paper-less business in one organization. Moreover the Internet enables instantaneous communication, and interaction among individuals and organization, and allows real-time global access to services, products and information. The Internet and new technologies has changed the traditional way of doing business in recent century. This also holds true to the logistics industry, it drastically cuts cost and time and makes transactions easier, although it seems that the logistics services firms in Thailand are very slow in adapting thee-business. This is mainly attributed to the long history, culture, and traditions in the industry. This research is an attempt to understand the cmTent status as well as some future directions of e-business development for logistics services firms in Thailand. Expectedly, business firms in Thailand should realize and effectively obtain appropriate benefits of this e-business arena. This report delves into aspect of e-business that effect to future business development, and finds that Thai logistics services sector can use and gives a roadmap towards utilizing Internet in that.
