AbstractIn this thesis study, the framework of technology transfer process has been proposed. In developing the proposed framework, previous frameworks that have developed by many great researchers been examined. The proposed framework is a compilation and modification from others previous framework. Significant modification has been made in order for the framework to be more useful and helpful for the transferee of technology. In order to prove the usefulness of the framework, companies in semiconductor industry in Malaysia has been selected to participate in the study. Data collected for proving this proposed framework was obtained through interviews with human resource manager, production and operation managers of the selected companies. Based on the study, the degree of usefulness of the proposed framework has be obtain, and the suggestion has been made for industry studied, others transferee of technology, and research on related area.
