| Abstract | This research identified and investigates the factors affecting back and muscle injury in construction workers by doing quantitative method through distributing questionnaire. This research is doing for the purpose of avoiding back and muscle injuries in construction. These injuries are the major problem for the construction workers. It impacts on both management and individuals. The major objectives of this study are investigating the factors affecting back and muscle injury, to propose a model on factors affecting back and muscle injury and provide recommendations to avoid back and muscle injuries. The research design of this study is quantitative method (Questionnaire survey). The factors are identified from journals, textbooks and websites. The risks which I have mentioned are same from many years in all journal papers and textbooks mentioned by different authors. For this study the factors are shown to experts and based on the suggestions and corrections I will prepare the final questionnaire for sample (workers). After preparing questionnaire I will do pilot testing and distribute the questionnaire to workers. As the factor groups are pre-defined and the suggests from my advisor there is no need to change groups. After getting the data from data collection I will do Reliability test and finally Structural Equation modelling with AMOS software. |
