AbstractUtilities and the customers will face the financial losses due to the power interruptions. Making a detailed research in the results of these interruption has been continuing. This study helps in enhancing the available scheme in determining the economic impacts of the power interruptions. Demand Response Programs are becoming a major part of the electricity markets in reducing the peak through the customer’s voluntary participation in which they are returned with certain incentives accordingly. Incentive-based Demand Response (DR) program is considered with the baseline load and type of customer and with certain strategies involving the Electric Vehicles (EVs) participation in implementing the DR programs according to the conditions persisted. Integrating the EVs the load required of the utility can be reduced by certain value to enhance available DR scheme. For this in vehicle to Grid (V2G) scenario the grid should be capable of identifying the EVs available which are good for the participation in V2G. It should identify the aging and the battery type in EV and should decide to choose the optimal available EVs for which the costs of V2G services are minimal. By determining the available charge and their costs for additional cycles in grid regulation services the algorithm chooses the EVs with this criterion for the V2G services with the constraint of the power requested by the grid should be satisfied. There by integrating the EVs with their minimal costs and enhancing the available Interruptible load management DR scheme to maximize the customer voluntary participation.
