AbstractFrom the last few years the use of renewable energy sources have become an important and playing a crucial role in the environmental impact and in the means of uses of energy sources. In my research study this paper that represents the integration of grid connected solar photovoltaic with a use of battery energy storage system-based MG operation regarding the power quality issues. And the maximum power point tracking is used to pull out the maximum amount of power generated from the irradiance level of the solar. In order to maintain the voltage level between the PV and the utility grid the battery energy storage system is used at it. And the expected of improve of power quality of integrated micro grid system through a bi direction control strategy. And the simulation results define the proposed PI controller develops the voltage unbalance under the voltage sag in the utility grid. The effectiveness of the simulation results in the total harmonics distortions is about the 0.45%which is simulated under the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment KEYWORDS: Solar PV, MG, BESS, PI controller, MPPT
