AbstractInternational air transport is one of the most dynamic and fastest-changing industries in the world. It needs a responsive, forward-looking and universal trade association, operating to the highest professional standards. As a result of Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Ltd. (AEROTHAI) that aims to lead Thailand becoming the leader in regional aviation as hub for air traffic service provider and entering business abroad, AEROTHAI supposes to recognize the changing of technology and environment as well as be able to examine the appropriated strategy, both corporate and technology, to achieve sustainable competitive advantage for running their business. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the strategic planning for Air Traffic Service Provider in Thailand with the Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Ltd. (AEROTHAI) as a case. In strategic planning, important considerations are the trends in aviation both domestically and abroad, as well as the National Economic and Social plan. The Strategic Plan is the culmination of consensus discussions focusing on the challenges to best position the Authority to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations and to operate favorably against its competitors. The objective of the Strategic Plan is to be the key tool in providing direction to Management.
