AbstractComputer numerical controlled milling machines are popular in the world and this research tries to improve the surface as well as to achieve better accuracy of the manufacturing process by optimizing the location of the workpiece. The error of 5-axis CNC machine is studied for a long time. By calculating the kinematic error, we will construct one model, which is a function of workpiece coordinate X^02/01, Y^02/01, z^02/01. To get this function, we will transform from workpiece coordinate to machine coordinate. We propose a mathematica model for solving kinematic error to enhance its accuracy control performance. The simulation result shows that our enhanced kinematic errors achieve both higher and better accuracy. It demonstrates that the real toolpath curve and the straight line between 2 CL points is not one and also give us some regions to put the workpiece to get the minimized errors.
