AbstractRemote controlling mobile robot is an interesting topic in telerobotics research area. Application of this research area is very wide. It can be applied for house caretaker robot up to Internet based laboratory. In this thesis, LEGO Mindstorms is used as a mobile robot that wants to be controlled over Internet. Software for this project is developed by using Java language included Java Media Framework. As compensation, LeJOS replaces the original operating system of LEGO Mindstorms. As a result, remote controlling can be done even though with some limitation in time delay. The bottleneck of transferring data that cause the time delay is happen in infra-red communication of LEGO Mind storms.
