| Abstract | With the opening of Thailand's economy to the more global relationships, the business landscape in Thailand has been changing rapidly. In accordance with the better economic situation, the existing companies have to adapt themselves to a rapidly changing environment. Because of this, the developing a competitive strategy is considered, which is the most impo1iant approach in shaping a firm's future. This research study deals with developing a competitive strategy for Siam Poolsup InterChemical Company Limited, particularly in the car care product line. It begins with a detailed review of literature. A series of individual interviews provide the needed data for the strategic analysis process. Subsequently, an external and internal analysis is canied out with an identification of the oppo1iunities and threats, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of Siam Poolsup Inter-Chemical Co., Ltd. given the market situation in which it is operating. Based on the results of this analysis, a competitive strategy will be recommended to the company. |
