Abstract | ASEAN countries see IT as critical to their long - term competitive advantage. ASEAN countries should actively participate in the IT revolution. The main obstacle for deploying IT is the lack of human resources as well as infrastructure. For the development of human resources in IT, the government need to facilitate using IT in teaching and to make private sector participate for developing human resources. It is challenge to develop human resources. The cooperation should be implemented for exchanging resources available. This paper deals with understanding government's role, private sector's role and regional cooperation for developing human resources in IT. |
