AbstractMyanmar is one of the developing countries in South East Asia and agriculture and related agro-industries employ about two-thirds of the country's workforce and generates onethirds of its export earnings. Myanmar has opened the doors to foreign investors to participate actively in exploiting natural resources thereby enhancing long - term mutually beneficial economic co-operation. Under these kinds of circumstances, the extent of technology transfer through FD! in agro based industry is considerably important to Myanmar. This research study aimed at accessing the extent of technology transfer through FD! in Agro-based industry of CP Thailand to Myanmar in poultry sector, in te1ms of human abilities, physical facilities and information. The study shows that the transfer of technology has been successful to a great extent in various aspects. Important weaknesses are identified and recommendations are made for assisting more effective technology transfer in future.
