Abstract | Organizational v1s1on, organizational strategies, human resources, capital resources, technology and cultural adaptation are the critical elements for the success of the organization. Multicultural adaptability is the core competency of the organization. Cultural skills could be competitive advantages for organization. The organization should not overlook the cultural skills of its personnel. Very often Cambodian professionals have common perceptions that individuals who have language and technical skills can be effective professionals. However, there has been a growing awareness that to be successful, professionals must adapt their expertise to the cultural environment they are in. Therefore, this research study aims at analysing the cultural similarities and differences between Cambodian and Western professionals in order to propose approaches and guidelines to ha1monize the work relations for better mutual understanding and performance. |
