AbstractSponsorship and Event Marketing are the world's fastest growing forms of marketing. Corporate giants are spending millions of dollars on naming rights for everything from sporting complexes, to arenas, fairs, and festivals. This seems to be part of a growing trend, as sponsorships and Event Marketing begins to play a more dominant role in many companies' marketing budgets. Nowadays the student population, either in France or in Thailand, is getting more and more important for the companies. They try to meet them at soon as then can, because they know that they will be the new generation of customer. One of the best way to reach the student population is in organizing events or sponsoring student events. Thanks to that they are able to know more about the product and the companies. The study will audit two different events in the student population. One event in France, the FESTI 2002, the biggest cultural student event; and the other one in Thailand, the 591 h Chula-Thammassart football Match. A focus will be making on the place of sponsorship on this two events.
