Abstract | Cash management is an integral part of the short term financing of corporate finance and of utmost importance in a financial world where financial liquidity and cash flow are becoming more and more important. Different regulatory and infrastructural dynamics in different financial markets of the world compels corporations and commercial banks to adopt and offer different range of cash management techniques and products. This research paper is an attempt to explore the specific needs of managing cash by corporations and the existing financial techniques to meet those needs, to investigate the range of cash management products multinational banks are offering in the developed markets and problems of offering the same in emerging markets, to analyse two developed markets in Europe and Asia and an emerging market in Asia to understand the regulatory and infrastructural differences that might affect cash management by corporations and consequent product offerings by commercial banks and to understand the future trends in global corporate cash management through recent professional surveys and expert reports. |
