Abstract | Pharmaceutical industry in Thailand is highly competitive. There are many competitors in the market, local and international companies and also the government enterprises. In terms of marketing competition, all the pharmaceutical firms are trying to sustain their market share by improving in drugs' quality, providing them in the best distribution channel for ease to access with the reasonable price and promote them through many media. Moreover, there are some bmTiers about Thai law and regulations such as the strict drug quality regulations and the support for the locally made brand policy from the Thai government, etc. Accordingly, the pharmaceutical companies are facing the high competition environment. The objective of this research is to understand on the current pharmaceutical industry; drugs market in Thailand. Therefore, the competition analysis approach can help to identify areas that offer the greatest potential, opportunities for foreign phm·maceutical companies and also consider about the challenges and problems that may be the barriers for running the business in Thai market. |
