Abstract | C++/OCAPI based hardware design of digital systems is the use of the programming language C++ to construct a design environment for the design of hardware for digital system. It uses C++ to capture system behavior at high level that description is incrementally refined to include detailed system architecture. The refined C++/OCAPI description can be translated automatically to HDL through code generation that can use to simulation and synthesis. The LPC (Linear Predictive Coding) algorithm widely use to decrease the data bit rate that LPC extracts key parameters characterizing the speech samples. In this thesis implemented some key part of the LPC algorithm by using the OCAPI tools which tool allow a quick analysis of the fixed point behavior of the original and provide a flexibility environment to implement a highly efficient architecture. Finally, the HDL code from OCAPI translated automatically was simulated and synthesis for actual circuit and compare the result with original speech. |
