Abstract | Signal conditioning is one of the most important technologies in measurement and automation system. It provides the interface between signals/sensors and measurement system. There is a strong demand in integrating the signal conditioner circuit in single chip which can support variety of application. As a result, this thesis focuses on the design and simulation of a monolithic filter that can support different Bandwidth requirement using CMOS technology. The filter will follow the Programmable Gain Amplifier and will do the anti-aliasing for the AID conve11er following the filter. The filter is 8th order Switched Capacitor Butterworth filter which has a programmable Bandwidth of 25 Hz, 250 Hz, 2.5 kHz and 25 kHz. The Anti-alias filter for SC-Filter is third order active RC filter. The circuit is designed for 0.8 um CMOS technology. |
