Abstract | Now East China Sea becomes very important ships traffic line and point of oil&gas exploration. In result this region receive large amount of wastes from extensive coastal industrial activities including oil discharges from tankers, manufacturing, mining refining etc. Marine oil pollution of this region impact to many countries and all Southeast Asia ecosystems. That's why at present time we need monitor and control oil pollution on this region, it is necessary to learn from our experiences in this disaster for the management of the environmental disasters in the future. Accidents of oil tanker and ships oil discharges are spectacular and local disaster for the marine environment. One possible way to detect oil spillage of monitor oil pollution of the marine environment is to use radar remote sensing techniques. Two data sets from JERS-1 L-band SAR was used for this research. |
