Abstract | Trade Promotion becomes one of the important aspects of the economy both in developed and developing countries. For Vietnam trade promotion network has just been established recently and it has to face many challenges. There are many things needs to be done for the system catch up with the regional and international level for the sake of the economy. The research does not aim at designing a new strategy for Vietnam Trade Promotion rather it only aims at reviewing the operations of the current trade promotion performance in Vietnam focusing on the current trade promotion network led by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE); then examining the best practices of Trade Promotion and Export Development in Asia to draw lessons learnt from successful Trade promotion organizations. Then based on the above analyses the research will introduce some recommendations to update and revise the current strategy. |
