Abstract | The big chunk of business for cellular companies comes from the sale of Network Equipments or optimization of the cellular networks. Unicode is one among the top companies in the area of manufacturing of cellular equipments and providing optimization services. The company is posed by a challenge of strong competition in this area, by decreasing revenues and increasing number of competitors. To maintain its share in the industry, the company has come out with a solution targeted for optimization of cellular networks. MVIOS will be a new service offered by Unicode to the cellular operators for optimizing their networks, reducing the data network problems. The thesis is intended to provide Unicode with a complete marketing strategy for the new service offered by the company. To achieve best of the results, the work will be divided into different stages. It will start with its focus on market segmentation for the business, where the major vendors and the customers will be recognized. Also this will give an insight to the total market potential, which will help company decide its business model. Further the thesis would dwell into the value chain & value model for MVIOS. The information and knowledge gathered in the first two sections will be utilized to build on the possible models for the service. The thesis will culminate with looking into the financial viability for the suggested business models & also with a possible future analysis. |
