AbstractThere are many risks in construction projects. Risks can happen in any process and effect every party or only some parties in the project. In the real situation, there are several parties involve in construction project. Conventional Risk Management Process (RMP) generally manage risks in one party perspective which may not be completely suitable for construction project since response to one risk considered by one party may become another risk to other parties, therefore Multi-party Risk Management Process (MRMP) was developed. The objective of MRMP is to assists decision-makers to manage risk systematically and most efficiently in multi-party situation. MRMP consists of risk identification, risk structuring, risk analysis and risk response process. MRMP is applied to a cement construction plant project which executed by Siam Cement Public Company in Thailand. In the organization there are several parties working together. Each party has their own objectives according to work aspect. Risk effect to one party may not be considered by other parties but risk consequence can be risk input to next party. MRMP can be applied to determine major risk among. pa1ties and determine risk path from main risk to root cause risk, calculate risk impact to the project and probability of risks before and after risk response taken.
