Abstract | The recent performance of the Nepalese commercial banking industry and that of the Thailand, by comparing their performance in terms of profitability, NPL, Capital adequacy ratios, assets quality etc were explored including the regulations imposed by the central bank of each country. The main aim of this research is to assess the performance of the overall commercial banks of the two countries. The approach made in this study is qualitative in nature based in the findings and the data's of some financial institutions. On the basis of the finding and comparative analysis of the study, recommendations have been made which would serve as guidelines for improvement of the baking sector of each country and it would further help the central bank of the country to formulate new policies for the development of the commercial banking sector of their countries. |
