Abstract | For many industrial equipments, the actual working status of the equipment can be detected only through inspection. Result from inspection will help maintenance manager to make appropriate decision related to maintenance action. Besides preventive maintenance policy, which is frequently employed in industry, inspection maintenance policy is also an important policy, which helps to maximize equipment's availability while keeping downtime at a required level. In this thesis, an inspection maintenance policy will be developed for the power transformers of a power plant, which aims at both objectives, i.e., cost minimization and availability maximization. |
