AbstractVisualization technology has progressed significantly in parallel to the growth of computerized technology. The users want to overcome the hindrance from geological complexities and engineering constraints thus they strive for efficient decision-making tool. This study is to exploit the interaction among geological sciences, computer sciences, information technology on the basis of integrated geosystem engineering concept for the visualization of Bangkok subsurface. Multidisciplinary geo-data comprising of geotechnical, geophysical logging data, RS&GIS including regional aeromagnetic and seismic survey data which were scattering in several organizations are integrated in data analysis and visualization processing. By the aid of gridding interpolation in RockworksTM visualization tool, it enables to predict non-data area by generated continual visualization, reveal unseen subsurface and verify geological structure of Bangkok basin. The stock of knowledge is established on a functional geospatial database by use of object-orientedprogramming in ArcViewGISTM which offers more user friendly in retrieving, uploading and viewing the data bank. This study presents a means of taking advantage of state-of-theart technologies in developing knowledge-based system as an effective solution for engineering purposes.
