AbstractThese days' people are trying to port their applications on Internet and using animated agents so called life-like characters to increase sale and customers. These websites has to be more interactive than others, as their sole purpose is to attract community to visit their website and buy product(s). Programming these agents so as they can be used in application is quite tedious job especially for novice-intermediate users who does not have any prior programming background. Different agent system provides different programming interface or Application Programming Interface (API) to use which also increases complications for users who even know some languages which are not supported by those agent system. This thesis proposes alternate solution of having interactive system allowing user to program animated agents visually. This solution not only provides Graphical User Interface (GUI) to program agents but also provide environment where they can learn how to program these agents manually as they can view underlying source code generated. They can also learn how to debug error(s) if they encounter while programming agents manually, as system provides detailed description of error and how to resolve error, automatic compilation of statements and indication of errors in those statements if there are any. JavaScript is used, as the default language for source code generation; however, generated source code can be changed to VBScript or vice versa
