AbstractGrid computing, emerging as a new paradigm for next-generation computing, enables the sharing, selection, and aggregation of geographically distributed heterogeneous resources for solving large-scale problems in science, engineering, and commerce. Grid technologies as the middleware infrastructure are developing rapidly and attract more attention by industry and academia. Extensive application of grid technologies are exploring in many enterprise field. An application in the field of building construction is presented in my thesis. In the implementation of my thesis, I discuss a hybrid software structure based on a combination of web technology application and grid technology application, which has the uniform interface but provide two kind of services infrastructure, one is common active web-page server, another the distributed grid service beneath the grid Java-related portal service. The whole system is a seamless, robust, uniform web application system. And the system as a grid-based project management system provide the efficient and convenient multi-roles operation interface to cooperate and integrate the resource management, financial accounting, news distribution, activities arrangement and so on
