Abstract | Privatization, i.e. selling government shares in a state enterprises through a public share offering, is an important ongoing process in many countries. One of these countries is Thailand. According to Thai government policy, many state-owned enterprises have to transform their organi zation into a business-like corporation, to prepare for privatization and the offering of shares in the Stock Exchange of Thailand. One of these state-owned companies concerned is the Provincial Electricity Authority(PEA). The research study is an effort to find the market valuation in privatization of the Provincial Electricity Authority(PEA), using appropriate valuation methods from the literature. |
