AbstractThis paper presents the findings about characteristics of- the decision making process for domestic tours of- Vietnamese tourists in Ho Chi Minh City, and their attitudes towards package tour service of tour operators in Ho Chi Niinh City. The findings show that the homogeneity of tourism products offering results in simple decision-making process and low satisfaction for domestic tours. However, the implications from decision making process give a lot of recommendations for tour operators and tourism authorities in Vietnam in terms of product developments. The findings also show a gap in understanding tourist behaviors of' tour operators
