AbstractThe data were collected from 206 respondents who completed an online survey to determine the specific concerns of online shoppers in Thailand and to identify why they don't purchase online. The study revealed that the three main areas of concern for Thai consumers were related to credibility, security, and accessibility/lifestyle. Specific reasons in each of the categories were also identified with the aim at reaching an in-depth understanding of the consumers. Suggestions on hat pleasures can he take to improve performance in terms of these categories was also provided. Analyzing the data based on different demographic criteria led to the identification of the differences in consumer expectations and behavior as the consumer demographics change. This will enable the SME's to clearly target their offerings their customers. Product categories which are likely to sell well in tile future as well as promotional schemes Iikely to attract attention were also suggested
