AbstractBusiness environment is considerably complex and, as a result, a lot more factors influence a firm's ability to compete effectively. A firm today competes on several factors such as price, time, technology, quality, reliability, and information management. It is important that a firm should revise its strategies or formulate new strategies frequently that can considerably influence the firm's ability to compete effectively. In the practical case of Comin Khmere, the analytical study is needed to exploit opportunities and manage threats in the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry (ACR) in light of corporate strengths and weaknesses. Porter's five forces is used to analysis the industrial environment of air conditioning and refrigeration. The internal environment is the study on Comin Khmere's tangible and intangible assets followed by the competitor analysis tool. By using the customer satisfaction survey as an input, SWOT and Porter generic strategies are applied to formulate the competitive strategies for Comin Khmere.
