The aim is to realize the effective match between product type and supply chain in strategic fit model under different circumstances. The research problem, a highly relevant theme in strategic fit model is studied; what is the rooted cause of Adidas Thailand emphatically employs forced sell strategy. Beside, to give the guidance, this study provides a solution to diminish the amount of budget using for mark-down and return this amount as its revenue. The scope of this study is, thus, restricted to supply chains in an exclusive sampling company, Adidas Thailand where the product type is typical of fashion sport-wear and innovative products with relatively short life cycles. Furthermore, the marketplace environment of the scope is characterized by turbulent markets' need. The first means is the concept of reduce uncertainty demand and the second one is flexible supply chain which is relevant to theoretical concept in the right supply chain to a product. As a conclusion this study provides companies to realize the useful of fitting in model. In addition to the mismatch result, the study provides a guideline solution to fit the supply chain and product, which seems to be a fairly untouched area in the literature. According to the selected research approach, these conclusions are valid within the case study. However, several issues should be further discussed.
