AbstractAcquisitions have much more powerful and influent to the business competition arenas. These strategies can generate the power of firm to the market, diversify the businesses, build synergies and strategic partnerships, and entry to new market. All of these can drive the firm to achieve the target goal of the company that is to be the leader in the industry and to have competitive advantage over the competitors. This research covers the topic of Acquisition theory through acquirer and target company perspectives of each player for the Acquisition Deal; How attractive of Thailand and Singapore telecommunication industry; Internal analysis of the major players in Thailand and Singapore telecommunication industry; The acquisition deal analysis between Shin Corporation and Temasek Holdings, the real deal and case that happened in South East Asia region. The author hopes that this research will be useful for anyone who is interested in acquisition aspect not only the acquisition theories but also the analysis parts that increase the understanding in acquisition deal through the recent case study of acquisition deal in Thailand and Singapore telecommunication industry as well.
