Abstract | To start a business in Vietnam, an investor must prepare to answer many requirements. They would include information on identifying all necessary supplies, furniture, fixtures and other materials needed for the business and the source for acquiring all such items. However, having an optimal solution isn't easy. It takes time and money to collect the necessary information, to analyze that information, and to properly communicate her findings. The investor can have a great advantage in meeting her challenges if she executes applications on a computer grid environment. Grid computing is an evolutionary step in distributed computing. It supports the investor works collaboratively with a variety of partners, suppliers, and various parts of their own organization in order to have right decisions and reduce redundancy and error for the businesses involved. The V/EIBSC (E-Investment and Business Setup Consultant in Vietnam) is a grid based system built to solve the challenges above. It uses the capabilities of the Internet to assist the investors in preparing an investment setup plan in Vietnam. My computerized information system provides the latest information on state and provincial programs and services, financing programs, licenses and permits, purchasing opportunities, and current information on Vietnamese manufacturers, service firms, major industry sectors, industrial zones, suppliers, and more. Besides, the system also allows the investors put their service requirements up for auction and get winning bids to assist them in looking for the optimal solution |
