| Abstract | A web aware QoS server is the server that provides QoS function in order to control traffics of the server. The functions of the server can solve the problem related to traffic issues such as one web site consume all bandwidth of the server cause another web site cannot provide service to its client. This QoS aware web server offers 2 major functions which are bandwidth control function and access control function. The bandwidth control function can control bandwidth usage of each web site or directory in sever. The access control function uses a form of statistical control. This means that the system keeps the statistical behavior of the client in the past, and uses this as a basis for controlling the current access to the server by the user. By using this QoS aware web server, the web hosting server can reduce problems which occur in the server and can provide more service to web sites in the server. |
