Abstract | Although the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy has been widely mentioned in Thailand over the past decade, there remain some doubts of how practical it is if applied in real life, especially in managing modern businesses. To this question, the key objective of this research is to explore and demonstrate how to transform this philosophy to practical applications in business management, as a guideline for Thai enterprises. Hence, a crucial part of this research is dedicated to the development of the Generic SEP Model for Business, based on the analysis of other researches and case studies, as well as expert opinions through direct interviews with selected companies, considered to have practical knowledge and significant activities related to the SEP. Apart from the model, other relevant areas of study also encompass The Role of Technology in Nurturing the SEP, The Interrelation between SEP and CSR, and The Contribution of Private Enterprises adopting the SEP to Thailand's Development. |
