Abstract | Currently, computer has more influence in human's life, because it makes things easier and better. In organization, they use a computer for presetting their project, while Astronomers use it for explaining their theory. However, application that they used, it is not the same. They usually choose the application that supports their job the most. There is one application that is quite standard. It is OpenGL as it able to apply to all applications. Graphic Media is an application which is very popular in organization, because it makes a project easier to understand. Most of people knew about astronomy as basically. That is why the researcher has been developed the demonstration to explaining the astronomy. The better way to explain about astronomy is create the 3D-simulation. By the way, there are some researchers, uses OpenGL to make simulation for explaining the theory of scientific, especially in a term of astronomy. However, there had just a few of simulator that show the detail of Solar System. So that, this research will survey technique that used on OpenGL and find a better way to complete the Solar System simulation to be more realistic. In addition, reader also gets some information about astronomy knowledge |
