AbstractAs technology gets more advanced with time, we find ourselves looking for better ways to improve our tasks each day. Electronic Auction (e-auction) is no doubt, becoming one of the rapidly growing technologies in Electronic Commerce. Everyday, there are thousands of buying and selling transactions in auction sites. Electronic Recruiting is another latest technology to help millions of people get a suitable profession around the world and also help the recruiters find the most suitable candidate in this competitive era. In this study, forward auction was studied and integrated with the e-recruiting mechanism that applies the Agile and Nomad agent model. It is implemented by proposing a suitable mechanism for c-auction for personnel recruitment. So, the recruiters can search and bid for a suitable candidate online to hire them. When the auction time closes the recruiter with the highest bid (salary offered) will be declared the winner. This thesis gives more advantage to the candidates by allowing them to see the number of recruiters bidding on them within the short period of time and also allows them to select a recruiter even before the auction time ends. The agent model adopts the `Correlation formula- Pearson ProductMoment Correlation Coefficient' to help the recruiters to make better decisions in submitting a bid for a candidate.
