Abstract | Social Entrepreneurs have been a major high light in the business sector of the developing world. Some countries are learning the trend while some others still remain ignorant or not to be very bothered about it. Most of the times only the urban educated people seem to have cone across these concepts and appreciate it. In this part of the world where basic necessities like food and shelter still remain a major challenge, business houses mainly look towards making profit for individual benefits. Integrating the social responsibility and accountability, the foremost goal being generating social value for the marginalized and neglected part of the society is lacking. On the basis of the findings and analysis of the study, recommendations have been made. Some of them are as important as a need for an alliance between big business and social entrepreneurs, partnership between government, private sector, non-governmental organizations and the civil society and also partnerships between social entrepreneurs and enterprises themselves will prove to make even greater impact. Along with this some key issues such as awareness campaigns, women education and rights, change in attitude, making socially responsible investment have been made which would serve as guidelines for further improvement of the concept of social entrepreneurship at large |
