Abstract | Knowing "who can help in this topic" is a big problem in knowledge sharing. A model of awareness states of a person is one solution for this problem. Bayesian networks can structure models for assessing knowledge, helping to reason about uncertainties in the model. In the auditing field, knowledge is the information stored in the auditor's memory. This knowledge can not be observed directly. In order to assess auditor's knowledge, in this thesis, I gather information about auditor's activities. I show how to integrate the knowledge state and information about social interaction to assess the level of an auditor's helpfulness. From this information, the model can recommend "who can help in the topic" |
