Abstract | In the present day, the Department of Highway under the Ministry of Construction had been involving itself in many of the road and bridge improvement projects all over the nation in order to elevate the livelihood of the citizens, secure peace, protect the environment, and preserve the climate while leveling the globalization playground. These projects need many qualified tender management processes. This report will henceforth perform an analysis on the strengths and weaknesses of the existing tender management procedures in order to find a qualified contractor and an efficient project undertaken by the DOH that also represents the framework of achieving a good contractor by means of tender management in a public project. This report will also contain a case study section which will analyze the strengths and weaknesses of tender management procedures in relations with the competitive environment, compliance and transparency. In these discussions, the project’s strengths and weaknesses will be explained in detail with a realistic recommendation will be made. All concerned parties involved in the project will need to familiarize themselves with the tender procedures to understand the international practices and the project delivery systems being used in the construction since they are vital for the successful completion of any project. Thus, a successful tender management is necessary on the grounds of criterion consisting of time, cost, quality, and value for money. |
